I’m Edward Aninaru a Romanian-born, Los Angeles–based photographer.

My work has taken me across continents, connecting cultures, industries, and creative worlds.

I believe in storytelling whether through still images or motion. Across fashion, music, commercial campaigns, and fine art, my goal has always been to create images that feel intentional, powerful, and honest.

From magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar to artists such as Celine Dion and Inna, my work moves fluidly between editorial, music, and commercial spaces.

Outside of commissioned work, I’m deeply connected to nature and open spaces. I live for natural light and I teach it around the world through anESSENCE, the photography education platform I founded, where I mentor creatives who want to elevate both their craft and their vision.

The sense of space, light, and freedom I find there naturally shapes the atmosphere and emotional depth of my imagery.
